Vintage
Swing Coat in black and white check/hounds-tooth. Lined with silk
like material, was probably black, but has turned to an even color of
dark dark purple. I did dry clean it and press it, but it did get
put into my closet so does need another press. For those of you
who like the vintage look, this coat is for you. It does fit me, I
would it is probably size Large. The pockets on it have buttons on
them and some great detail. I hope I've gotten all of the angles
so that you may be able to see this jacket. It is about hip length
on me. I'm showing it on a dress form that is size small, so it

Victorian
era looking jacket. I'm sure that it was made much earlier than
that, but would make a great addition to anyone's costume who dances or
does shows in fancy Victorian style dress. Some my just like it to
wear over a black or white top to add some flash. Great
piece. Shown on small dress form. It is probably a size
small. The picture of the front piece does not show the lapels
well - they are wide and rounded at the top. There is netting as
you can see from the back view that elevates the shoulder area.

| Vintage two
piece Claude Vernet outfit made of 100% silk knit, size medium. It
does need to be pressed. My Mother In-Law who is now 79, had
it as one of her favorite outfits and gave it to me. She said she
had held on to it for years, she didn't want to part with it, even
though she didn't wear it any more. Orange doesn't suit me, so I
thought I would put it up on this site. The skirt reminded me of a
picture I've seen more than once of Carrie Bradshaw from "Sex &
The City" wearing a skirt like this, but with wider stripes.
It is shown on a size small dress form, so does not show at it's
best. The top is higher in the front and rounds down in the back.

This sale is for a wonderful navy blue hat, with feathers and shiny beads, consisting of a round velvet covered band with netting over the entire thing hanging down
about nose level. The design in the middle of the center top of the hat obviously sits on top of your head, towards the back slightly. The two feather designs with beads in the middle that show in the front do actually sit in the
area of your hair, I think bangs or not. It's hard to see the netting, but you can, if you look closely. My rather inexpensive digital camera does not do this justice. The hat was with a box from Winkelmans, probably from back
